Hi, anyone here who knows where to get the stopper or holder or strut that keeps the kitchen lid open? This thing is supposed to sit on the right side.

Any other successful solutions besides jamming a wooden stick in to hold the lid up?

Any help is highly appreciated?

Thanks so much

Hans

You can find similar holdup thingy at woodworking suppliers for people to built cabinet. You most likely won't find a drop-in replacement and will have to drill new holes. You can try find a used one form someone trashed Westy kitchenette.

Just one of hundreds of vendors:

I have the factory Westfalia kitchen lid support arms.
Screws directly into the holes already drilled in the lid and the top of the cabinet being a genuine Westy item--you do not have to drill any more holes, it fits..

Check it out--it's exactly what you're looking for, and a direct from the factory replacement part.
