Hi. I am restoring my 1953 Beetle, and needs to upgrade the headliner. I want it original. For the headliner it is grey, while the other material is more beige (the parts below and above windows/doors but below "ceiling"). Was it like this originally, that the "ceiling" had a different color than rest? I have also seen the same on a 1960 unrestored Beetle, that the "ceiling" is grey while rest more white/beige.
Buying a headlinerkit it seems all parts have same color. |

here's our new Sewfine center headliner on our 3/55 bug - it went in rather well - very much fabricated, like the original - we did not install the rest of the kit as it appeared too difficult - as far as the color is concerned > we like this color - that's all that really matters - headliners get replaced over the years - have fun - z
