Early Early Pop-out Question

Does anyone know roughly when they changed the pop-outs on early Notchbacks from the on the body seal to the seal on the frame itself?

If it helps, my late-ish (non pushbutton) 64, the seals were on the window, the body only had the seal holding in the headliner

I think Martin's correct...I've owned three 64's (both early and late) and they all had seals on the window. Must have been on the 62-63.
