I'm not positive, but I seem to remember that the hearse at MAM event may have been previously owned by Jerry Jess? It was at the time of the MAM show based in Indiana. I haven't seen it in the Midwest since that show. Wonder if it is still in Indiana? Wonder if he hires it out for VW funereals? Thankfully not that I need it... yet.

I believe that is the one owned by Jerry Jess but I can't remember where it went to when he sold it.

It says it's been repainted and I know after Jerry sold it, he said something happened to the paint during transport. Something after the temperature and weather changes from AZ to it's new location caused the paint to bubble and peel. He told me it had be repainted.

I saw this one on Reddit the other day. There was no info about whose it was or where it was. That huge gigantic viewing window (?), the lowered trim line beneath it, and the replacement for the VW logo on the front are fairly interesting though.

Is there any point in creating a new post with the renovation?

Wow, that is really taken apart!

I'd continue this thread unless you really want a new thread.
