|
|
Found this 90's Westy today in a junkyard here in Albuquerque. I pulled the stove cabinet and the power mirrors. Other than that i'm the only one to pick it over. All the misc things like swivel bases and do dads are there. With a bit of cleaning they are good as new. I didn't get a pic of the front but nothing is cracked or damaged on the lights/grill.

.......black sliders!
Did it have power windows?
Was the rear bumper trashed? I'm betting it was.
Thats a shame more of the interior wasn't useable, those grey interiors are hard to come by. _________________ '91 Carat Westy

nope, the windows were manual. The rear bumper was pretty burned up, fiberglass isn't very fire resistant. I've got to go back to the yard on monday and finish pulling the stove and propane tank. If anyone needs any parts let me know. The floor was in really good shape and had the tracks for a middle seat. _________________ 86' Syncro 2.2 Vanistan, WBXhaust, ski-pole shifter for +11hp |

Wow.
There are some artificial rain gutters up there.
I'd love to get to climb around a vehicle like that!
Slightly OT, but generally how much does it cost to rummage and take parts off something like that?
Thanks! _________________ Don't tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.
