Sorry for the late feedback.
Ordered the standard length pedal shaft kit back in december. Shipped quickly and the communcation was excellent. I opened it up... man was it packaged nicely. Looks really clean. You can tell this guy is detail oriented. Anyway, I havent gotten around to installing it but it looks excellent. _________________ Ad

In my short trip around the hood of thy neighbor, it felt a little 'too' smooth at first. It took a second of getting used to (then again this was a new cable as well.) Damn if I dont have brakes now :p Waiting on parts and thats another thread
Pedal is all people are saying it is.
I dig it.

hey i bought the clutch pedal last year but barely had to install it in january of 2012 due to broken cable hook. smooth transaction it got here in 3 days. i have had it in about a month no problems with the exception of having to inlarge the hole of the hook to fit the bushing, not there fault cause everyone has diffrent specs for manufacturing parts.
I also bought was so impressed i bought the roller pedal this thing is solid! no problems!!! i will be buying another clutch kit and gas pedal for the wifes 74 but im gonna swap mine to bigfoot kit!
ps will you guys be at the races this march?
Thanks |

i got mine this week. great guy to deal with and the pedal itself is fantastic. its got a beefy, solid feel and looks better than any other roller i've seen. if your beetle has a roller pedal, this is the one you need to upgrade to. well worth the money! |

I met these guys yesterday at a small show in Lakeland FL
Really nice people! Very informative and well packaged products! I didn't have enough cash on me so they allowed me to pay Paypal via my cell phone to get their big foot clutch kit and the throttle roller pedal.
Can't wait to install them! It will be about a month or so before I can provide any feedback due to waiting on some more parts for my new motor.
The parts have nice instructions and look to be really well made! |

How badly are they rusted???? If not to bad soak it in a good oil and let it get into the pin and you should be able to drive it out ... Watch the you tub video that Ron has posted... Just remember that the peddle set theat he is using has been apart more than once.....

Any decent penetrating oil should do. I always use Inox but that isn't easy to find. _________________ -Tim

I ordered the extended clutch pedal and the roller pedal. Very satisfied with both. Good quality, good welds, good finish, good hardware, and the roller pedal is 10 times nicer than the previous ones I have purchased. No excessive play and feels really nice under foot. I installed my set up on a Dave Barrett chassis and only needed to modify where the clutch cable connects to clear the center tube (what would be the tunnel). Works great, fast shipping. |
