Hi All, I just got a replacement clock for my 66 deluxe. The clock was taken out when I bought it so I had to hunt a replacement to fill that hole in the dash. Problem is, I bought just the clock and not the housing to hold the clock in the dash. Does anybody have any idea if there is a part that I can buy that will seat the clock in the dash hole securely? I have tried to zip tie it from the back to hold it in place and that doesn't work. Thanks |

If you have the full clock and securing nuts then all you need is the 2 L shaped pieces of metal that fit over the studs on both sides. The nut tightens down on the L brackets that clamp the clock in place by pressing on the back side of the dash. You could make some if you dont need OG ones. _________________ Waiting for santa to drop off funky green. I can wish can't I???? |

Hi there, reviving a dead thread.
Any source for clock brackets these days?

I bought a clock at an antique store a few weeks ago and it was mounted in a custom wood box. I believe the brackets they used were altered headlight aiming "hooks"- bent and drilled to pull the clock into the box. Crude, but its' a start while you look in every swap box at every bus show... _________________

I have some of those. I’ll see what I can come up with.
No repops? I’ve looked at the usual sources with no luck. ISP sells a repro clock, I may call and see if they sell just the brackets _________________ '67 13 Window
