I think Dixie's bra has only 5 hooks |
The last time I checked, there were less than 5 hooks _________________ - Bill, '93 Eurovan Syncro Weekender (2.5 manual ACU) |

Yes in this case No Bra does work!
Not really sure what the make of my Westys' bra is but it does have hooks and it does
a great job at not letting giant bugs spread their guts all over the front of the van! I'm assuming
that it does an equally fine job at keeping rocks from chipping the paint, but the bug gut evidence
is most visible.
BTW I picked it up off of Ebay for super cheap! Give a look you never know? _________________ '15 Audi A3 Quattro

I just picked up a used Colgan bra from phatveedub for $50. He wasn't using it because he went to the South African grill and just had it in his garage. It fits beautifully and it cleaned up really nicely. Saved myself enough money to get the headlight protection kit from GW. |

Cover up the nice paint so no one can see it.
I never understood it.
Do you also have plastic on your couch?
Save the money, when the paint gets beat up, spend it on some new paint. _________________ 1987 Westy Auto Bostig 2.0 Ztec |

Didn't you read my post about it being a highway tripping van. The bra is to protect it from paint chips and rust. Maybe you don't drive on hundreds of miles of new chip and seal every year but I do. That seems to be the norm when traveling in the West. I am the original owner of my van and it still has most of the original paint and it still looks good.
Just how often do you paint yours? After every 10 rock chips? 20? 50? How bad does it have to look before a repaint?
Is your van just a Valley Girl that stays home and looks pretty all the time or do you actually use it for what is was intended to do?
I'm happy to use a bra on mine, it's my van, and my question was "Which
Bra should I buy?", not should I use a bra or not? |

On the serious side, the Colgan is a good fit. Lifts and seperates to hold everything in its designated position. The design is such as there will be no flapping in the wind nor will it cause any chaffing of any kind. The Colgan has 6 hooks which will keep it firmly in place and make removal quite difficult. All the wind in the world wont budge it
Allthough its whats under the bra that counts..the Colgan is sure to offer lots of protection so you are guarenteed to get your fair share of cat calls, and many a glaring eye will be glancing your way.
What more could you ask of a bra. |

If you guys are putting cloth Bras on your vans or cars then when are women going to start wearing clear bras .
It only make sense to me ,good for the goose then good for the gander.
