In every other forum of this site there are stickies at the top that are on-going and people contribute to them.
You said the sticky is good for commonly asked issues.
there is not a single question that gets asked more than "what type of buggy is this?"

And it could build into a nice secondary resource for tub ID? I'm a fan of the idea obviously. Think of all the "ID my buggy" threads that could be collected for future ID enthusiasts to review. Thiink of all the "Is it a Manx?" questions that would have a single place to refernce. Lots of great Manx info collected but it is in about a couple dozen threads and noobs don't generally search first.... ( I was a noob once myself... )
I like seeing all the buggy varients, nice to have a collection point like they do in the abortions thread, that one is kind of popular, 1480 pages and counting...could happen here too. _________________ Gary

Separate thread for each buggy ID, not a common thread for all ID's.

Hey Joe, I believe I have a Sears Rascal but Wythac has better pictures! These are pictures of his exceptional machine.
I think it was also marketed as a Terra buggy. Your dash and tail piece don't match these but it does have a hood ridge and plate indent. My tailpiece is slightly different but I think there were a couple of versions and a couple of shops manufacturing these for Sears if I got the story straight.
I wish mine looked as good as yours, been a long project so far.... _________________ Gary

A lot of them in northern ontario and and Québec ,that i was told.One of them seems to have made his way to FLA. (Lo cash John) Any ideas ?

Here is a Aussy buggy that is very similar in design. The windscreen looks to be very similar with that square looking tubing and the flat front nose with hood mounted headlights.

That's one of the approximately 50 early floorpan Manxes which were produced between approximately November 65 and Summer 1966.
Here is a copy of a letter dated November 1965 signed by Bruce which says they've suspended production of the monocoque type and begun producing your early floor pan type.
When they made your Manx they only had one mold. After the August 66 issue of Hot Rod magazine came out(which would have been NLT June) with the Manx on the cover, they had an overnight back order of hundreds of bodies. The first thing they did was made additional molds to increase production capacity, but they also made the changes between your style floorpan Manx and the later ones, including the redesign of the rear license mount.
Another thing unique to your type of early floorpan Manx is the windshield frame which was hand made from flat aluminum bar instead of an extrusion. I'm not sure why you're asking though, I'm pretty sure you know this stuff as well or better than I do.

On the early floorpan type, the ledge on the top of the back seat was narrower and pretty much the same width as on each side, all the way across. On later Manxes the ledge was narrow at each end, but got wider in the middle.
