Greetings fellow Vw fans. I've been here for a while, though I have mostly done Type3's, Beetles, and several Sandrails. My wife has been after me to get her a dune buggy, so I was able to get a deal on this guy, which already I love the looks. The hard part is finding out what this actually is. I don't have any info on the car itself, so I'm a bit in the dark. Can anyone help me in identifying what kit this car is built in to? It's on a swing axle, with king pin front end. Anyways, on to the photos
Any ideas from the guru's on what this kit is? _________________ It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

I can’t even find a picture of a buggy with a bolt-on engine cover like mine. Anyone else seen one and know who made it?

Can anyone tell me who made this buggy?
I've looked through the archives twice and can't find it. The 3 ridges in the hood seem to be pretty unique.
I bought it mostly finished back in Sept; rewired it, added the sidewinder exh, painted the hood and dash, did a lot of tightening up and making it more drivable.
Thanks

I made it through all 25 pages, and with the exception of the photo bucket BS, I didn't see this one. Looks like a fairly common roof, and rear, but I've never seen that design of front end. Any ideas on what it may be?

Just pulled this out of the garage titled in 1972 as a 63VW. Has not run since 1991. Would like to know the maker if anyone has any idea?

Picked this up recently. Haven't been able to identify it. Can anyone tell me what make and model it is? It's built on a '71 Beetle chassis.

Thank Genom, With your info I think I've found a previous owner. The rims, tires, and shifter all match what I have now. The person I bought it from changed out the shifter, I have the one he changed out and it matches. So does the yellow paint under the tan primer.

My son picked this up about a year ago. We have been looking off and on in an attempt to identify the body. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
It's built on a '61 pan.

Guessing a Kyote Clone??
Headlights aren't embedded, just mounted in front of spots that look like they should be cut out for headlights. Interior looks newer than correct period. Rear "spoiler" also doesn't appear to be cut out.
