I not sure yet what will work. I pick some up at Summit in Reno an it says Alcohol resistant. I have not used it yet.
Looking at websites for the different products out there, none seem to want to commit to saying the new fuels we have to use will not desolve their product.
I in the dark as to what to use. _________________ Joseph

I've used the POR15 gas tank kit on a number of projects and never a problem. _________________ Glenn

I would recommend Glenn's suggestion as well. _________________ *Past*

I been using POR-15, it seems to be holding up well with the 10% alcohol crap gas we're getting down here. (I run Seafoam and Stabil additives as well)

I use tank etch (part #910-16756) and sealer (part #910-16752) from Speedwaymotors.com on all the atv / go cart projects that need the tank cleaned. Works pretty damn good in my opinion. _________________ I NEVER KNEW I KNOW SO LITTLE, TILL NOW.... |

Looks like POR-15 might be the way to go. |

I did the por-15 thing and have been perfectly happy, but take that with a grain of salt... I haven't actually had a motor since I did it. _________________ ---

I dont know what brand i used but i did it over 25 years ago and a recent inspection showed my tank was still in perfect condition. even after several years of old gas and moisture in there. Great upgrade. |
