Amazing how just cool white can be! Nice.
I like the top grill spoiler. It works well on that color.
Oh and the wheels.....
And the lights.....

Looking good!

Sweet van, nice to see these examples of the vanagon. so many on the road that have been chewed up. These are such nice vehicles when they are well kept.
I am curious about the "spoiler" above the headlights. I saw on the euro vanagon sites and down ins Aussi land they are quite the rage there.
Who came up with this, and what is it supposed to do or create? not sayin it looks bad, in fact it does look kind of cool I just dont understand what its supposed to be doing. somebody pleszze educate me.
If you do decide to tint the glass, use the uber mondern super high tech ceramic stuff that rejects heat properly. Most all dark tints super heat the glass to VERY high temps an thus heat the air in the van big time. I have done the science on this and its proven. You need heat rejection not absorbency. Dark tints heat the glass, don't use them.
Turbo twists are a nice touch on the van. are you running adapters or did you machine the rotor hubs or what?
Tastefully done |

The front of my westy looks very similar, clear turn signals and PZ fog lights. I also have clear taillights to match the front theme.
Don't tint it. _________________ 1991 Westy auto w/ Peloquin TBD

It's a bummer that the PZ fog lights aren't readily available any more. My van looked like a stripped down version of this one, and I love the look of the PZ lights...
Sorry about being such a n00b, but what does "RS" stand for?
I think I have the same base van, which is a 1990 Carat (Weekender package) but I don't know what the RS stands for... _________________ All-grain homebrewer with a 1990 Vanagon Carat. |

"RS" stands for Resnnsport"in German - or "Motorsport" in English..
may be he has a 3.6 Carrera engine in there...
