Hello samba members.....
I have a 1966 2/3 middle seat and the seat back has some rusted and broken zig zag springs that hook to the frame. The frame is in good condition... My question is...Will a 68 or later bus middle 2/3 seat have the same spring configuation as the earlier seat????..
If so i plan to use some springs as a donor. Any help or knowledge about this would be greatly appreciate.

I'd take it into an upholstery shop and get an opinion. Won't cost you anything for them to take a quick look at it and make suggestions and it ultimately might be worth your while to pay them to make it like new.
