Between my Type 4 engine and the years of driving, the rear of my 73 Squareback is sitting kind of low, and of course, the driver's side is lower then the passenger side. It' something that I have been putting off, but now I want to get it right.

What I am looking for is a chart that says: IF YOU MOVE THE INNER SPLINES X, AND THE OUTER SPLINE Y, YOU WILL GET THIS MUCH CHANGE.

I know That I have seen one here before, but unfortunately, I didn't save it.

Thanks for your help

Some info and table in this thread (though some links are broken):
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=188457

I'm not sure if Bug and Type 3 use the same tables; check the spline counts, and these posts:

Otherwise, you might start your search for the holy grail chart here:

My 67 was sagging on the rear driver side.
I just raised it 1 inner spline and it was level again!
You can go back and lower it 1 outer spline if necessary, but I didn't need to.

They do because in some cases they share the same components.

I had Type Squareback torsion bars on my Baja, and my Squareback has Type 1 trailing arms.

The strength of the torsion bars does not play into the chart (unless you change them). The torsion bars "preload" is caused by the weight of the car, and that doesn't change when you re-index the bars.
