Yes, the brown bus was stolen. Three months later I got it back stripped. No interior, no wheels, no motor, no transmission and missing all the cool little things. I got a Shell and front end back. I had purchased the white bus so the brown bus sat on the side of my house for years until I got rid of it. I put all my time and money into the white bus. _________________ Prosit!

I posted my first bus, and here's my second. Yes, I had the seats for it.
We all had the one that got away, and this is one of mine. Last I remember it went to
Canada before I lost track of it. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

Great picture. In 82 I purchased a brand new Honda 250R three wheeler. It took me a while, but I figured out how to get it in my brown camper bus. First put the front wheel in, then roll it into the back left corner of the bus while lifting the rear into the bus. Now the left rear wheel on the bike was barely in the bus so I climbed it and lifted the front wheel up and onto the rear seat. Then climb out and slide the rear over into the left front of the cargo area corner. Now the cargo doors can shut. I hauled my three wheeler this way for five years out to the desert and back before I purchased a trailer. I wish I had a picture of it in my bus. _________________ Prosit!

This was my first bus, a 68 I got for nothing back in 1987, 88? No engine and the trans was sitting in the back. I threw a motor in it and drove it around for a couple of years. Second was a 66 pop top which I wish I didn't let go and third was a 70 pop top which I just sold last year.
Sadly, I am busless at the moment _________________ 63 T1 Ragtop Gulf Blue

This was my last bus. 1969 Tin Top with a SO-67 Westy kit. I had this for a couple of years, but had a difficult time psyicaly working on it and a difficult time finding someone to do the work for me. Then it started showing rust so I sold it before it was worthless. You can't relive your youth.

My first Bus was a 73 Panel that I bought in 1990 to travel in.
Now I have a 76 Westy. _________________ *******************************
