I made this wall clock out of Type 3 parts. I am just sharing this to everyone.
Thanks
The donor parts:
The brackets that holds the parts together:
The donor clock:
I was trying the bracket to fit well on the Type 3 pulley:
With some Type 3 parts in place:
Applying paint on this one:
With the Type 3 headlight lens:
Finished one beautifully hanged on the wall of our dining area:
I may have added this Type 2 VW logo, nevertheless, it artistically serves its purpose:
Thanks so much

It must be '64 and later, because it doesn't have red needles. Nice Work! _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.

Thanks a lot, guys. I used an ordinary wall clock that can be bought at home depot and dismantled the same and get only those essential parts.
I did not use the stock clock of a Type 3...
Again, thanks a lot..

Craft stores sell the clock parts kits, just so you know for next time. However, all of the ones I came across had ye olde tymee hands, so I can see why you pirated all of that stuff out of an existing clock.
Good work, inspiring to say the least! _________________ ~Craig
