|
|
Hi,
I'm trying to establish the type of combination pliers that are missing from my roundbox, the box is complete except the pliers, I have the felt liner with the philips stubby screw driver, the large wrench has the 36mm ring only, using google, I have narrowed the year of the box to around 1956.
I have seen that the pliers should be 1850 or 1850-2, is this correct & what is the difference between the 2 ?
Pictures would be great to compare.
Thanks

I had previously checked this site out, but wanted to get detailed info. in what to look for in obtaining the correct pliers. 1850 versus 1850-2
Also what year did the large A in hazet appear ? _________________ -------------------

If memory serves me right, the 1850-2 started in the 60's, so look for the 1850. I have the same kit you have, i'll take pix of my 1850.
Here is a link showing the Hazet logo through the years.

Good luck on your search.
