Just an observation. Has anyone else noticed that Rainex doesn't work very well on Things. It must be the aerodynamics of the hood or the windshield angle.
On my other cars the stuff works like magic.
I bring this up as my wipers have not worked in 2 years Embarassed

Who else agrees?

Possibly the age of the windshield? I would think a pitted one would have a higher surface tension.

Works fine on mine.

How fast are you driving?

Maybe you have to deep clean your windshield first.

You can use something like Duragloss 755
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/DG_755

You can use it by hand but prepared to work hard. Take a terry cloth towel for the extra bite and shake the 755 up and apply it to the windwhield working it hard back and forth. You can then clean the windshield with a 50/50 mix of iso alcohol and distilled water, then apply your rain protection.

My windshield is original. I drive probably a max of about 50mph, water don't move.

If it is original then it needs to be deep cleaned most likely and 50mph is not even freeway speed.

It works on mine. It works better on my more modern cars with more sloped windshields and at lower speed.
