I know that air cooled vans typically sell for less money than later vans. I have seen low mile late model westys go for crazy money. There was one with around 30k miles on an auction site recently. If an ultra low mile air cooled came up for sale how would it's value compare? |

Depends on the condition... if it was parked with 5 miles on the clock, but sat in a barn with a family of racoons making it their home... _________________ 1980 Full Camper, been in the family since it was brand new!

The best place to get an idea is the NADA guide. _________________ 1982 Westy, 1974 412 Variant... Yes, Aircooled's are great! Oh and I do have modern computer controlled vehicles too, but I just don't care about them. |

Perhaps, but they list high retail for a 91 gl camper at $11,500 and an 80 camper at $17,500. Somehow i just dont believe that. |

I saw that too,I think that is a typo or a confusion on their part with a bay camper. As you look at the other vehicles after 1980 the prices fall in line with what I have encountered. _________________ 1982 Westy, 1974 412 Variant... Yes, Aircooled's are great! NADA doesn't consider a 1991 anything a "Classic" appreciated vehicle yet. but the 80 is.
