I'm guessing 1962 since we can't see if there is a Wolfsburg Crest on the hood, but the Beetle in the foreground has large tailights with what looks like a small license light.

That is a interesting photo because it was taken in the early 60's. The Falcon appears to be near new, the deluxe beetle, a Renault 4CV, a standard or 1200 Custom Canadian beetle ( there were no Cal bug window rubbers then), and a two door 57 Ford Ranch wagon.

The stats are 1960 @ 400 million and the next stat is 1963 @ one billion
so somewhere between 61 & 62 The Falcon checks out to be a 62....but the model year started in Sept of 61

I would say this must be '66 or early '67 judging by the US domestic cars and trucks in the picture. Looks like there's a '66 LeMans, a '66 Lincoln Continental, and a Corvair Monza at the least.
I also see four Beetles and a Type II.
Anyone else see more?

I just watched the movie "The French Connection" yesterday. Released in 1971, I have never seen so many VWs in a film before! I didn't think to count in time, but I must have seen at least 15-20. It's like seeing Priuses in the roads today. Everywhere!
