First car at starting line is Simca Vedette#69, probably an early Brazilian production model, sitting on the front of the grid alongside Alex Ribiero's home-built VW-based special and Plymouth . Driver of the Ribiero car is Nelson Piquet.

Nelson Piquet went on to become an F1 champ though.
