Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 1967.

City Hall (out of camera to the left) was about to get a new
square (King George Square) area in front of it, so the old shops had to go and the area became a short term car park.

How many VW's can you spot?

Without zooming in for detail: 5, possibly 7:
-2 Beetles near foreground
-"Sea Blue" Fastback 5 rows back, pointing to the left
-Beetle in last row by the dirt embankment
-Tan/white Squareback (2nd car from end) on street along front of church, pointing to the right
-Possibly a white Fastback 2 cars in front of the S'back, though it's quite compact so could be a Porsche 356
-Possibly the rear of a white Beetle on road heading diagonally to right, 2nd car from intersection.

I hope nobody tries to count the blue Beetle-like car on the diagonal road 4 up from foreground; I say that's a Renault 4CV.

finster is good at these VW spottings; hopefully he'll try.

I count 4 beetles, 2 fastbacks. possible squareback outside church (up from the white beetle) and the coupe/fastback thing is too vague to call.

of interest is the indigenous austin/morris lancer/major in the foreground behind the datsun, white over red paint.
