Thank you to everyone who contributed on this thread. I was going to replace my outer passenger door handle because of the 113 number until I read this.

Per the listings in the first post of this thread:
The ice pick handles part #s you posted are for recessed doors, 61 - early 64

I cannot tell looking at the bases and hooks but I believe you can switch that stuff around and make the later handles work on the earlier "flat" doors.

So maybe partially?

If anyone can post the differences and measurements between the bases and hooks for the various years, I can add this information to the start of this thread.

Base from my prior post.

Base from another handle believed to be early. As items could have been swapped around.

Could the difference between the 2 bases be the same dimension as the recess? This would then keep the body of the handle at the same location in the door handle pocket?

I was not aware the thickness of that part was different but I believe the real difference lies in how long the piece with the 2 threaded mounting screws extends outward from the lip you measured.

Found this on page 1 but no sizes listed

Non-recess is longer I believe since it has to extend further to match up with the mounting holes in the door jam

Can bus ice picks work on oval windows? Or vice versa?
