Do you put the top in first and then the bottom? If this is the correct way getting over the heater tube is not easy.
Or
Put the bottom in first and then the top? If this is the correct way it is hard to put the wing nuts in. |

I just checked mine and it is roughly 43 degrees using that outer edge and roughly 45 if you use the centerline from frame tube up through the slotted hole. _________________ www.thebustransfer.com

Thanks for the double-check Mark.
I went to look at mine in person and did some actual measurements and I agree 45 degrees is correct for the center line.
I took a more dead-on bracket photo and updated my photo and angle picture above.
Looking for more pics, I found this pic in the Gallery:
I wonder if this is a weird angle or if this seat is damaged somehow?
The close one looks less than 45 (could be photo angle) and the far side looks almost straight across. _________________ How to Post Photos

Can someone please confirm the sizes of the rear seat?
There are some great pictures with the rough height of a padded front seat in the gallery and I know the front frame is 45cm wide.
But what about the back seat?
Cheers. _________________ 1951 Samba 20-017894

If you can specify which dimensions you’re looking for I can try to get them tomorrow. My seat is in its original covering so specs would be as covered. _________________ www.thebustransfer.com

Thank you.
Mainly these;
I believe A and B are the same? 45cm?
And one more measurement not in the picture. The thickness of the padded backrest top edge? 10cm? _________________ 1951 Samba 20-017894

I can only guess that you just want basic specs? its tough to get some type of measurement as there are curves and such.
these are basically edge to edge as if I have a straight edge from one edge to the other.
A = 45
B = 49
C = 40
D = 20
top = 10
hope it helps. _________________ www.thebustransfer.com

Thank you!!!!
Yes I knew the measurements would be rough but it gives a good idea.
Cheers. _________________ 1951 Samba 20-017894

I measured my rear Deluxe seat and basically got the same measurements.
A and B were a little smaller but the seat is installed so that may be why.
A = 43cm
B = 46cm
C & D were the same measurements
C = 40cm
D = 20cm
Top of the backrest I got:
7cm
I measured from the back to the beading edge so 10cm sounds reasonable edge to edge with the curve and everything.
My backrest is OG upholstery
My bottom is reupholstered but looks correct, it's not overstuffed or anything.
I think it might even have the original padding, etc. _________________ How to Post Photos
