| Hey guys. Im looking into installing a fuel gauge in my dc since its my daily driver now. I already have a wolfsburg west gas tank with the fuel sender option. Currently it still has the block off plate. I want to purchased there fuel sending unit. But my question is will any fuel gsuge work? Ive seen some at jegs 0-90 omhs omhs going for like 20 bucks. Im not looking for something fancy just something that will tell me how much gas I have. I already have a reserve valve installed but I hate running out of gas. Let me know of any inexpensive gauges that has worked for u guys. Thanks |

Ohms of the sender must match the gauge. Plain and simple. Even if it's off by only 10 ohms or so it'll play hell with your readings. The factory gauge looks right in the dash, not that you were asking.
