And so I did.
Actually, it's a dime I found on the ground under the van, so it must be some sort of epiphany.

Brilliant! I need to find a 2011 dime now.

You should find a dime from your van's model year.

I was going to do that but when I found the dime under the engine I figured it was a sign of....something.

THIS! Match the dime to the year of your engine install! Love it!

Uh-oh, I can see my branding effort is going to be an uphill slog. I guess instead of stickers and t-shirts I can just send out spare change?

You actually have spare change...being in the Vanagon business and all?

I'll supply my own dime, but I still want stickers and t-shirts. Smile

I've found plenty in the vans I've parted out! Filthy money but clean profit. Wink

Spare change is all I have. Not really sure I can spare it either!

Good thing you didn't use "tendollarlife" as your screen name...

Funny you said that, my other online alter-ego was "fortydollarbill" (FZ fans, arise!).

Guess I oughta find some hi-temp cement and stick a dime to the engine blocks. If I get the right kind that could be my overheat telltale (sorry I can't warrant the damage, man, you dropped yer dime!).

Exactly. 'Dynamo Hum' is a pretty good name for an engine too! Wink
