I bet once you do a bit of work on her then look back on these pictures you'll see, edit: be amazed, how much difference a bit of care makes.

cheers

Welcome Lucy! I hope you have many fun miles and trips with her.

I was looking at your photos, and noticed the Rhode Island license plate. We lived there for 5 years before moving out here to CA, and we often talk about how we miss it there.

Enjoy Lucy.

Lists like this always remind me of "Ghostbusters" when Ackroyd wheels that ancient Cadillac ambulance into the garage. Laughing

Hello,

Beautiful looking bus. Don't forget that Transporterfest is in Brookline on the Sunday of the Columbus day weekend. Plenty of busses to take a look at as well as as encouragement from others plus you might be able to snag a part here and there from people selling stuff in front of their vehicles.

Keep us posted on your progress. Smile

Congrats.

Was wondering how far that van would go. Obviously not too far.

See you at Transporterfest.

today's little effort
both rear hubs removed, and driven an hour outside the city so a friendly garage who'd let me use their press, to press out the old wheel bearings and press in the new ones and an hour home
once home refit the drivers side hub backing plate, change the wheel cylinder and fit the drum, next refit the right hand side hub, then the sky opened to give me and my tools a wash Sad

i hope tomorrow i can finish the rear brakes and get them blead
