Just braided brake line from reservoir?

My car never had the metal lines from the brake reservoir to the master cylinder. I didn't know they were supposed to until I looked at my neighbor's. Mine were just the braided lines. Any problem with this?

The metal lines are positioned where items in the trunk may come in contact with them. As long as you don't put heavy items in there you should be ok.

Great. One more question: what size is the braided line? I have the blue German made line, but only long enough for one side and I need two for my master cylinder. Hoping I can get some at NAPA because my local TRUSTED ACVW dealer is pretty far.

Just take your blue line to Napa to see what size fits it. They carry metric metal lines.
