With the interest that started to emerge here:

I figured it was worth floating a "Bays on Boats" thread. I'm not sure if it will sail, but I'll cast it off:

View from the drivers seat going from Chappaquiddick Island to Martha's Vineyard. This was a SMALL ferry and only allowed 3 cars per trip:

Not the best picture, but...ferry crossing of the Ottawa River. The orange 74 is my buddy's and the 72 is mine. We were heading to Mont Tremblant (Quebec) for the weekend.

Hmm; I've never had a Bay on a boat. I did have one 3 miles out in Saginaw Bay... but I drove there... on ice! _________________ '71 Westy |

From Europe to Asia, crossing the channel at Canakkale, Turkey. Had a much better boat ride on this 6 month drive, from Turkey to Cyprus, but no photos! Just a lot of drinking and dancing with Kurdish truck drivers for 8 hours straight.

Ah yes- the ColSac II- or is it III--?. Been across that many times, but I cannot find a pic with my Bus on it. Brings back a lot of great memories of camping at Devils' Lake ( of course).

Back a decade or two ago in Seattle during my trip up there for the Seattle Bug in and vintage show...there was a guy making Boats that attached to bay window roofs! _________________ Werksberg Products....Products that work!
