I have a 73 super beetle convertible that I've been trying to get driving and I can't figure out where this steering arm thing bolts to. Any help will be greatly appreciated. (It's on the front passenger side)

In this photo, do you see the three bolts to the left of the strut? Three of the four bolt holes of the Pitman arm (that's the thing you are asking about) bolt up to the three bolts going through the body. So only three of the possible four bolt holes are used. That's probably what was throwing you off. _________________ scrapyards are for quitters

Yep, Idler arm. The Pitman is on the other side coming out of the steering box. OP just look on the other side how your steering box is bolted on. Same thing only on the other side for the Idler arm. _________________ scrapyards are for quitters
