That oil temp gauge looks like a Draeger. Nice. _________________ 53 Hatch Barndoor

what's the reason for that throttle hand control?
And especially why put it on the shifter? |

sorry to hear that
from my experience, I always have to "lean" over to shift (maybe because I'am pretty tall?)
so maybe your setup might be more ergonomical with an extended shifter? |

i am missing my right leg and work the clutch and brake with my left leg. i figured since my hand is always on the shifter it was a great place for the throttle.there is also a line lock (electric) i use for the rear brake it just isnt installed yet |
keeping your hand on shifter after gear is selected cause stuff to wear and is the major reason 4th will start popping out of gear. not shifting rest your hand on seat or other place. please. _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017

Sancho the position isnt bad i wonder though if that is because all my split buses with this style conversion have been early with the shifter closer to the seat. the conversion in my bay was odd with the more forward shifter position.
dont worry bill the system is added to the existing equipment so once rolling i work the gas with my foot. had to keep it this way so i could free up my hands for texting and drinking coffee |
of course. why would they put cup holders in cars if we are not supposed to drink coffee? _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017
