Wow, the carb looks great! What is the engine dolly? Are there wheels on it for scooting the engine around the garage?

Yep.
Once you lower it to the dolly you can pull out your Jack and it makes it easier to move the engine around.

saw it from the Bug Me videos. you can see it at the 0:07 mark in the video

Just a update note:

Bathroom remodel slowed down the funds, but have been working on replacing fuel lines, messed with brakes some, but to no avail yet...
picked up a 6v Optima Battery.

trying to locate a donor piece for under the dash for the steering wheel clamp.

Dropped the wheels off to media blast, and still thinking on which tire to go with... like the Cokers, but have to see if budget can make it happen.

Hopefully things start moving a little faster

Wow thats a good price. I was going to offer you a deal on some new Nexen's but I cant beat that.

Mounting isnt a problem. You can walk them on pretty easy with soap, and a thin screwdriver, or pay about $5-10 each tire at most tire shops.

Look into this for balancing.

Thanks, I did see your Nexens for sale... Do you guys mount tires too?

I knew that you did the balancing and will probably come see ya for that.

what do you think about the rims... paint or powdercoat. ( staying the factory colors either way I go though )

I was quoted $60 per wheel for the PC
waiting on a quote for the paint.

The price has dropped on those Nexen's (add not updated) but my cost is still more that what you'd buy the Nankings for.

Paint or Powdercoat is your choice.
Me... I build drivers, so save my money for gas, tires, and oil. Spray bomb paint is cheaper, and you dont feel bad when one chips or is scratched, but if you must have a pro do it, then unfortunatly you must pay. Id say if your paying to have them done, go all the way with powder coat. Pro painting may not be much cheaper.

Id recommend using the "air soft" beads for balancing. Just drop in 3-3.5 ounces in during mounting.
Dont waist your gas driving to me just for mounting, get them done local to you, but if you need me to I will.

In my experience, professional painting is A LOT more.

My local place only charges $30/wheel for powdercoating, which I know is cheap but $60 is high.

Rec'd my Brake Parts from Wolfsburg West today!
New Lines, German Master Cylinder, Hoses, Grommets, and the little nuts that go on the oil cover plate. I manage to usually strip one during a change.

Decided to change out all the brake parts as its better to be safe than sorry!
