Best wishes with the repairs. That bondo around the driver's side headlight was thick enough to have its own part number. Rolling Eyes

Hopefully your guys will fix it right, and you'll be cruzin' again soon.

thanks man. ya....that bondo was the first thing i noticed after i got out of the bus after the crash. well, now it will have bondo still (used clip) but itll be a small amount, and done the right way so it wont break off and/or rust.

I got my bus back! its nearly finished, still gotta mount a rear bumper, hook up foglights, get a new speedo cable, and connect my tach. then i get to install my radio and take some daylight pictures! the paint is perfectly matched to the original color, and i plan to slowly strip the old paint off to get to the OG paint. the shop still has a can of the color matched paint, so i am going to hold on to it (the said its free), and when i screw up the paint, ill have a cover paint.

also, they had a car come in with a rear brush gaurd...looks almost like a roo bar. the insurance bought the guy a new one....so the shop gave me the old one Very Happy it nearly perfectly fits the frame width too!

while in primer:

taped off to paint inner tubes and nose the matching color:

soooo...have any more pictures? Laughing

yeah, obviously the paint needs to come off those signal lights. if it wont chip off try nail polish remover and a COTTON BALL...no rags or anything else.

if i was desperate, and it wouldnt come off, i would sand it off, then get some metal polish and polish the scratches out. works great! better than plastic polish IMO
