Is the RRC 4130 Beetle cage (12 point) well thought of?

If not, who do I want to work with to get a cage bent up? I can fit and weld it to and AWS WPS once I have steel bent.

Any and all tips appriciated. Will go in my Class 11x build.

Thank you.

Charles

If you can not locate the desired "kit" any race car fabrication shop can supply and bend up the tubing if you supply the drawings or let them have the car to take measurements from....

Look around your local "industrial area" I found several builders and "racer" shops in my area when I was building my buggy that were not advertized except maybe by word of mouth...

You can start with this Class 11 cage and make modifications as you see fit.

regarding that Chirco kit above: it is designed for cars with a 3" body lift if you have not lifted the body you need to lop 3" off the bottom of the upright tubes.

Rhodes wants 1200 to my door for a 12 pt 4130 cage kit, and I cant find the steel any cheaper than that. I can always add to it I guess..
