Interesting that he has framed 'his loss being someone else's gain" whereas he bought it for $30,500 (+ BaT commissions) and is offering for sale for $40K - hmmmmmmmm......nice 'loss' if you can get it!

I think it looked better with original paint. They spent a lot of money on it, but didn't detail the engine, no information on engine condition, transaxle, and front diff. A lot of cool stuff added, but little detail on the important stuff.

Yeah, a simple pre-purchase post here on Samba would have given the owner a good idea of why it can't pass SMOG in California....

at first look was nice. but some bad rust under the windshield and I bet if you pulled that window you'd find much more
