Can the rear torsion bars be removed and all springing be done with coil over shocks?

If so, which ones and where do you get them?

I have never seen a good place for coil over shocks, except for the trash can.

If you remove the torsions the ride will be very rough, and the shock mounts are not designed for the constant load of the suspension

Shocks are designed to absorb shocks not the primary suspension of a vehicle.

Check out what Mendeola is doing with coil over for supension.
The is a coupleof threads on this site about it or just go to Mendeola's site for more information.
The coil overs they are using are not cheap, but are some of the best you can buy.
And yes you can use the stock mounting point on the chassis with some reinforcing done as Mendeola does.
