said the man with the most experience in making convertible tops on Split Karmann , Hebmullers and other coachbuilts. That is why I made them in 2 mm. Wink Reinforcement rails under the heater channel in 2 mm with V rail in 2 mm and Z rail inside heater channel 2 mm... It is good for the doorgaps Smile

Remove the rubber in the open area. I used a razor knife.

The first complete lower rail for early convertible. Next I will make these couple of pieces for left side, and then start to build the tool for right side.

There will be sprayed zinc paint under the V-support rail.

Dude. I’m stoked. All the support rails I have used in the past have been a pain. These look awesome. Well done

The tank support and lower luggage panel look fantastic. As you know we had to make the lower luggage section for the 47 by hand here in the shop. It was very time consuming and tricky. I’m looking forward to being able to get them from you. Thanks so much for your dedication to your craft. Very inspirational

The first oil filler cap / breather tube for 1948/1949 beetle, it's cleary shorter than later tube, also the curve radius is different.

I need your help!

I'm making these outriggers for floorpan, but don't have a good pattern on the outer area, also want to verify the first hole location.

What are the original dimensions of A and B?
