the last in & out pump I used I had to aligine the holes and enlarge them, along with aligining&"porting " the hole to the case feed hole,it was way off.not impressed with them. not sure if it was a cb pump.but I have seen them also & the holes/gallys still need attn. (for my liking) |

yeah, like all cb parts the basics is good but some finishing is required.
My angle is; if it does not work out, you are still ok.
If the full-flow tapping goes bad and you crack the case................ ouch |

Drop 2 Advil down the oil fill and that will fix all your oil pump and crank headaches!

I guess I'll find out, I imagine I'll have to sign a stack of pages of fine print before they give me a check for the prize money. |

So I'm kicking around the idea of a cam change. I originally planned on either an Engle 100 or 110. Ended up with a Scat c25. don't ask
So with stock heads with P&P, 1.25:1 rockers and an 1 3/8 exhaust would it be a good move to get a 110?
Also I have CB bigfoot lifters with 2K miles on them, can I just use those lifters? |

I forgot the rest of your combo, but I remember stock valves
i don't think the 1.25 rockers help very much. The intake maybe, but the exhaust does not flow much more with over .400 lift, so it's kind of a waste. |

So how far would I have to go to make it worth it. Something like Tim's L3 heads and an 1 1/2 exhaust?
Upgrades are not out of the question. Figure I might as well at least ponder the options while I have it apart. |

Really depends on what you want
Even with the stock valves, you can up the duration and CR somewhat if more mid-top end is something you could use.
Some headwork is good if you have the budget, stainless aftermarket ex valves and a 3 angle job does make an improvement
The advantage you DO have, is you have driven it around some already, so you know how it runs as is. you can trade torque at one rpm for torque at another
what do you have to trade? |
