None really. A pressure tested used one is okay, the new ones are debated on quality but I've been running one for a while. _________________ Wash your hands

I would be careful using a used oil cooler. There's not a good way to flush it.
I've been using a empi oil cooler for years in my baja with no problems. _________________ foam cowboy hats aren't good helmets. |

Take it to a radiator shop for a flush and pressure test. _________________ Glenn

good for fuel tanks too. you can build pressure testers too, I think I've seen a picture floating around here. _________________ Wash your hands

Idk, I think the stock parts are better than all the after market crap out there. I have had slight issues with every aftermarket part I have gotten so far, none with original equipment. Vw makes good stuff. Have it pressure tested if you don't know how, and if its no good I'm sure your local vintage vw shop has a good used one they caN sell you for wayless than a repop part will cost you. |
