Where is the start point on Friday morning? |
There's a horse farm right off I-25 at Bernardo, New Mexico. It's exit 175. Go west about 1/8th of a mile. Plan to meet up at 9am.
I'm planning on camping in the area the night before. |

I'm so stoked about the trip! Just finished packing the single cab and getting the house squared away for the time away. The plan is to leave Pagosa in the morning, head south through Sante Fe but stay headed due south on hwy 41 to hwy 60 rather than going through ABQ. Looks like that route should have us ending up right at the start point without having to hit the interstates.
Anyone know where the closest camping spots would be to the start point (without being too close to I-25)? |

Looks like we're just about ready to roll... I'll be bringing my beater banjo which anyone who is so inclined will be welcome to play. I'm looking forward to spending some nights outside and spending some time with you fine people. Thanks Mike for having a plan and see you all soon! Matt |

Congratulations Mike! I believe you'll find the drivers that went, will want to go again. This, in turn, makes others want to go, and so on, and so on. I predict next year your trip will be twice the buses and we need these events all over the country! Great job, great pictures! Looking forward to the stories and more pictures! Rock on! |

Those are just teaser photos. I have over 500 photos and 40 min worth of video. I need to go through them all and upload the good ones.
It was such a blast! Good roads, good friends, good food, good beer, good scenery... Just doesn't get much better than that.
Thanks so much to everyone that made it. You all ROCK! |

Pictures look great, sorry I could not join you guy, all things collided for my that weekend and I could not get out.
Let's do something in Colorado or Utah late summer/early fall. I have been dreaming of dragging some splittys on the trails of Moab.
Thanks for the inspiration, hope to make it next trip! _________________ 1985 Sunroof Vanagon |

Glad you guys got home safe. How was camping last night? Seemed super windy when Dan, Shelby and I rolled through. |

Last night was awesome. This morning was even better. It was the warmest it has been. New Mexico is truly outstanding and amazing. Great group of people who drive their busses. I will post my pictures late and sure I will say how awesome it was again.
I'm trying to calculate all the miles and will post that stuff later. Mike, never did get those laminated maps. _________________ 86 bostig SYNCRO
