Some more shots of the car with some motor pics thrown in. Motor isn't detailed yet but will be soon. Just trying to make sure all is broke in before finishing.

Question...

The car was water-cooled originally and has intake/exhaust vents for a radiator. With all the adapters available, why not something more reliable and water-cooled for an engine?

I HATE aircooled VW engines, so I'm biased, but I'm mostly just wondering.

LoL! Awesome. I hate them, but keep running them, like a battered wife, so who's the smart one?

There was somebody a while back who did a Land Rover with VW pan and engine and I thought, "LR bought the old Buick 215 from GM. With all the power goodies and dress-up finned aluminum goodies for the 215, why wouldn't you go front engine with a motor that LR actually used? Tri power would look so cool under the hood!"

Now I know... There are people who love VW engines. Very Happy

The car on Jalopnik was built by a friend of mine. I commented about it below that article under the name Sandals. I only mention that so I don't have to write the same paragraph here.

Cool car.
