+1. I'm a big fan of stock smoothies on an older-looking, patina car. But I'm not a big fan of BRMs either. My favorite non-stock wheel for a VW would be Raders but like the BRMs, I think those only look good on freshly-painted, mild custom cars. Just MO, even though I know you weren't asking, LOL!

Yeah if you're asking for opinions the stock smoothies do look better...

The BRMs look good but especially if you're keeping the patina look then keep the smoothies!

When rollin' "patina", roll original style wheels.
Options,
Add beauty rings, and change up caps from time to time.
