I have an 82 Westy that is fitted with an Eberspacher Aux heater that I'm thinking of removing, has anyone else gone this route? This Van is my 18 year old daughters that she is really only to using during the summer months. It currently is not working and although the Van is in incredible condition, I dont know if I want to get it working for all that it would be used, and then there is the saftey aspects to consider. When removed I think I would duct between the 2 ends , remove the fuel "T" and cap all the wires etc... I'm also thinking that the electric blower motor could be rewired to a switch on the dash to augment the stock heating system, what are your thoughts on this??
