|
I have read the other 300 and somethings posts for the tranny swap
from a 3 to a 6 rib tranny. But I have seen different answers.
Anyway here is my question. On the 6 rib before putting it in, I need to swap out the drive shaft and the bell housing,,, DO I NEED TO SWAP OUT THE NOSE CONE TOO??
Please if you are not 100% sure and have no hands on experience in this do not answer. Im not looking for opinions, I'm looking for facts.
Thank you. |

the shift rods are different lengths, it may be a good idea to look at swapping those too... check ratwells site for an elaborate description and theres some good threads about it on samba if you get your search terms right _________________ May of '72 Deluxe. 2.0L L-Jet CS & 091 trans conversion
