They may be www.usawheeloffroad.com wheels.
I never asked Bruce & Winnie who made them.

Thanks for the compliment...

My buggy has a 3 inch body lift and is running 30 inch tall front and 31 inch rear tires. That is where the height comes from. Here's a couple more pics...

Bit late i know guys, but i only just came to the party!!!

These are the Centrelines im running. Came off of an imported (to the UK) Chevy Caprice Station wagon. Turned out to be a 5" pcd pattern which meant i needed to go the blank discs/drums route to get them on. No idea what model they are, ive only seen one other set with 12 holes and that was on Google Images.

Had to have them polished as well as they were a bit of a state when i got them. And yes, i know i need new nuts!! Embarassed Laughing

Anyways, 9.5j on the rear, 7.5 on the front. Running 295/50/15 tyres on the rear and 225/60/15 on the front. Buggy still being built but its nearly there.

What do you guys use to polish / protect them?

I've two sets and both are looking a bit dull now they've been used / stored for 15+ years.

I use Mothers mag wheel polish on an old t-shirt, and good old fashion elbow grease.

I'd try one of the Mother's polishing balls/cones on a drillmotor with the Mag/Al polish.

Here's one of my favorites:

Are Centrelines clear coated from new? Or a raw / bare finish?

I just bought a set of 15x7 Centerlines for my Bounty Hunter. I think they look killer on that body style. I also have them for my Bonneville buggy and my street/former race buggy.

And Centerlines are just raw aluminum, no clearcoat

Have Centreline stopped producing these wheels recently? I'm sure I visited their website before and they were listed, but not there's nothing with a 205pcd?

Anyway, I was looking on their website as I wanted to double what type of wheel bolt / nut they used on this type of wheel.

Should they be radius or taper style? From memory is radius but just wanted to check.

Thanks

My "Wide-5" Centerline wheels use a "Ball-Seat" lug . . . like a stock VW.

Next question please.

Anyone know if the silicone seal inside the rim is a specific product? I'm going to restore these wheels before fitting, and on a couple of the wheels it's bonded really well still, but the other two it's not looking as good, so probably a good time to renew.

Thanks

Definitely need to seal one wheel, as is not holding air and leaking out through the split rim joint. So need advice on what product to use?

Thanks

I used Permatex Right Stuff on a couple of mine. I cut out what was there with a single edge razor blade. Layed in a good heavy bead of right stuff and used a plastic scraper to get it smooth all the way around. Try and keep whatever you use even all the way around to keep the wheel as in balance as possible.

I've now tried a silicone product and it still leaked. Then had a body shop epoxy paint the entire inner surface of the wheel then apply a bead of 2pk sealant.

Left the wheel for a week after the tyre was fitted, held air fine. Fitted it at the weekend and went for an hour and a half drive. Next day the tyre was going flat.

Bubble tested the rim and its leaking from one point in the centre part of the wheel. When I removed the wheel it leaked from several points around the centre of the rim so the wheel bolt torque was closing up all but one of the leak paths.

Anyone had this before and successfully sealed the centre join of the two parts of the rim?

Of alternatively, anyone know where I can get a single Bubble rim from?
