IPC has a bunch of them in a bin for a couple bucks I think. They also have the exact same filter in a Bosch box as well.
Unless it says made in Germany it just feels wrong on the bus so a little lacquer thinner on a rag wiped it right off. _________________ http://66split.com - My 21 window Seebau / Cumulusweiß bus restoration project and the crazy drive across the country that followed.

do you have a source for those made in israel filters? I had a few, but the last few from WW were not and not as nicely manufactured, in my opinion
thanks |
Sure, email me. I can sell you as many as you want. They are Bosch. |

I agree. I have now heard of exactly one fire where the filter split apart and caused the fire. Every time this comes up in a thread (most often in the bay forums) I pose the question of "who has seen a filter cause the fire?", and it almost never has been the cause. _________________ nothing |

been running filters in the engine compartment for 20 years and the only engine fire i have had was from a bad choke wire
with the german braided fuel line on those plastic filters it's almost impossible to take off _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

So would I.
But then we're about to have baby #6 and I'm going under the knife anyway so I may as well score a cool Split out of it. _________________ Cheers & God Bless

any thoughts? i'm sure the paint will shine.

I tried TR3 based on some recommendations here and really like the finish it leaves, not too shiny and feels really well protected. Different than other polishes I have used, more of a lasting protection layer it seems. |
