That was exactly what I was thinking when I made it fit the behind the front seats: pretty stealth, especially in a darker shade.

Made a new curtain from a Harbor Freight movers blanket. The blanket looks to add some insulation
from the cold cabin. I cut the blanket down to size, added female snaps and then bound the edges.
Have to pick up another snap kit and add a few more to complete the job.

Silly question here but... How do you unsnap the front curtain? Mine snapped in easily, but I can't get it undone. Embarassed The curtain behind the front seats has a different type of snap than the other curtains. Is there a trick for undoing these super tight snaps?

Not sure what you have for snaps? I bought this snap tool from a canvas shop that repaired my GW Wasser Stopper
when one of the snaps pulled through the fabric on removal.

Consider using Starbrite snap and zipper lube. It works great.

Overtons sells the snap removal tool.

As for the curtain, I hang mine like Tim, but with the original snaps (one on each side). In the middle, I use a magnetic hanger hook to snap the fabric onto the poptop metal. That way, when the child that sleeps up there wants out/down, it just falls off/down when he pulls on it and nothing tears.

SIMPLEST EVER: At a bicycle store or Target, get a bike flag on one of those flexy fiberglass poles. Measure twice, and cut the pole (once) to go between the outer edges of the shelf-ledges on either side of the mid-section of the van-- over the front of the slider door and above the front edge of the sink-- arched to push up against the underside of the headliner. Held in place by press-fit against the top, no screws or hooks. Use a decorated bed sheet (cut vertically up the middle and hemmed), or light weight full-length curtains-- and never mind the fact that the top is ached. Open up the ends of the top seam, and slide the two halves onto the fiberglass rod. When not in use, have the one behind the driver secured close to the pillar wall behind the drivers seat, esp. up high behind the driver, to minimize blinding the his view when swinging his head around for rear views-- gather in and retain the curtains w/ a few velcro loops, or even with twist ties. If the pole is the right fit, you can slide the curtains up to meet at the middle without too much of a fight, and they'll stay in place. This solution assumes that you also have the basic Westy window curtains, side and rear. Yes, it's tried and proven in Philadelphia in an urban residential district with plenty of pedestrian traffic.

Just finished putting up a curtain rail on the cab ceiling. My HF movers blanket that was in place with snaps had seen better days.
So, I wanted a more permanent curtain that I will be able to use without searching for it.

Here are the pics. Curtain slide rail.

I used the male snaps that I had put on the sides to keep it in place.
Also bought a 50 piece bag of slides but still had plenty of hooks.

The curtains are held together with Velcro. Still need to make a couple of ties for them when not in use.

Yes, it is a different snap with a safety catch. There is a center pin on the female side that pulls out to release the snap.
