I have decided to go ahead to post this up. Found this through idaho volkswagen club and got the body for a good price. Solid nearly no rust.. Few weeks later i was able to get an early 58 pan with clear title for this body. Goal? well just to fix it up, restore the chassis and gather all the missing parts for this 58. I am still trying to decide on the motor if i should get a 36hp or just get a bigger motor. Anyways pics.

Thanks ill post more pics of the progress since i got it the day before christmas. As for motor, i would rather just buy a new/ rebuilt motor because im tired of collecting parts from previous rebuild and just would like to buy and install easily.

Hey, I was curious if you know the story as to why your 58 was missing the pan. The car looks straight and clean. Did the po use it for a buggy or something?
