Dune Buggy Golf Carts seem to still be around. I didn't contact them as I'm not in the market for one. _________________

I get SO pissed off when I find something I really like, and it is gone, lost or just not around anymore. I asked ACME/Barrien buggy about Kart bodies like this, and they said they were working on them, but were backed up with other things pretty bad and it would be some time before they rolled any bodie out. I was wondering if you found a buyer for your mold and if it was ACME that bought them. I DO hope to see more of these, I am sure they would be a great seller out here in the PHX metro area. (more the outskirts where retirees use them all over).
Damn SSDI taking SO long to decide it is driving me crazy. Hell, I'd buy the molds and make them myself if SSDI came through and I had a shop.
Anyway, I really liked the progress pics and what you did. This was a long time coming (meaning, I am surprised no one did this earlier).
Hope all worked out well for you ! |

Sorry I disappeared for a while, but I'm still around. I let my .com website domain expire, but we're at .net. I still have the molds and would like to find someone to produce bodies, and maybe a custom golf cart builder to assemble and sell completed carts. Let me know if you're interested. Let's make more of these!

This is a go kart that has a Allison body, its on a lawn mower chassis its an old project that someone did years ago. Body is in great shape for its age. it pretty big to almost 7ft long. I dont think its an true Allison that was made in Fl, this seems bigger than what Ive seen in the few pics thats out there. May be selling to a a Allison truck owner in PA. But when I saw it on CL and was 2 hours away had to have it.[/img] |

Wow! That is awesome! If I was a golfer, I would have to have one of those. If you could ever convince a pro golfer to use one during a televised event, you would be a rich man in less than a year from people beating the door down trying to get one.
BTW where did you find the kiddie ride buggy. I need to get one of those to build for my kids. Those are awesome too. I had no idea they were obtainable. |
The small body is a copy of the old Hampton carnival ride cars. We can make more. _________________ It's here

That's cool. They need to use that at the golf course.
You can go dune buggying in the sandtrap. |

This is a good before & after picture. These golf carts were once identical. Both still use (mostly) stock E-Z-Go golf cart running gear and suspension.
