I found a set of inexpensive Recar seats from a 91 BMW 318i convertible...
they look similar to the specialist...

I have a set in my 83. cut the old seat tracks off and used them. The gowesty sliders for Recaro's should fit. Use the search there are several links very helpful when i installed mine.
best regards,

Depends on the base. Some cars do not have a base setup you can bolt on tracks to.
I put some Recaro LXBs out of a BMW in a VW once. Just had to bolt on the right tracks.
FYI: The tracks can cost more than the seats. BUT, depending on the seat, you can sometimes modify other tracks to fit. See the FAQ, I think the Recar seat thread is in there. _________________ "Use the SEARCH, Luke" But first visit the Vanagon FAQ!
